Outreach support
Outreach support to the elderly and disabled who are housebound (the most isolated members of the West Balkan community), providing form filling, interpretation, information, advice and guidance service, particularly in the areas of Welfare Benefit Rights, Housing, Community Care and Health.BHCAC’s Outreach service operates from our office at 1 Dalling Road, Hammersmith W6 0JD.

Information Newsletter
Published every quarter, providing regular information on community issues, rights & entitlements, health and services available to our service users in Bosnian-Serbo-Croat language. 

Social Club
Includes lunches, talks, music, chess and domino competitions, poetry. This improves the well being of West Balkan refugees by overcoming their isolation and loneliness through meeting and talking to other community members. Wednesdays and Sundays between 14.00-20.00 at Rear of 108 Willesden High Road, London, NW10 2PP


IT/Internet Class
Delivered in partnership with BACES enabling elderly to learn new skills, and promote self development and integration.

Line dancing & tea
Delivered in partnership with BACES. Tuesdays between 17.00-19.00 hours at Rear of 108 Willesden High Road, London, NW10 2PP.


Quarterly Events
Delivered in order to reduce the isolation and exclusion across the whole community age groups, especially vulnerable members who are housebound.
Quarterly Health Awareness Sessions
Delivered in partnership with local PCTs in our premises in Bosnian- Serbo-Croat language, to raise awareness amongst the West Balkan community about the health issues affecting them.Tuesdays, between 14.00-16.00 hours at Rear of 108 Willesden High Road, London, NW10 2PP

Youth club
Social and cultural activities such as outings, dance and performances to keep young people in touch with their Bosnian culture and become better citizens of the UK.Sundays between 11.00-13.00 hours.


Volunteering Opportunities
Providing volunteers with internal trainings which will help them develop their skills and knowledge in areas of social care. The volunteers assist paid staff in administration, home visit, organising and delivering events, form filling, accompanying, and interpreting. By working for us, volunteers, particularly the elderly feel that they are useful to the society, which helps them gain an improved sense of self worth and has helped overcome their sense of isolation.
